* '''Important note:''' In 2012, it became … * '''Important note:''' In 2012, it became obvious that the released seeds were not too different from its sister variety, [[Dwarf Mr. Snow]], and the decision was made to continue the selection. The re-selected Summertime Gold variety was called [[Summer Sweet Gold]] and released in 2015.
* Developed in the 2006-2011 by the members of the [http://nctomatoman.weebly.com/dwarf-tomato-project-introduction-and-information.html Dwarf Tomato Project] from a cross between [[Golden Dwarf Champion]] with [[Green Giant]] made in 2006 by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia, and named Sneezy.
* The variety was selected and named by David Lockwood after his newborn daughter, Summer.
* Others tomato growers involved in its development are Michael Volk (Texas), Susan Anderson (Texas), Howard Kushner, Linda Black (California), Carol Knapp, Jeff Fleming (Michigan), Robert Fromm, Lee Newman and Bill Minkey (Wisconsin).
* Should be quite stable in its 9th generation.
