GERM SC K

Black tomato, regular leaf, indet.

Seed source:

2005

Year grown:

Location: Germany

B.C GI K

70-75 days, indeterminate, regular leaf. 4-6oz brown/black fruit with green shoulders. Very vigorous plant, absolutely delicious with an acidic earthy flavour. Great for sauce, really great producer, seems to thrive in heat. One of my biggest new surprises this year. Will definitely be a staple in the garden from now on. Benefits from really heavy staking. Didn't crack too much, and even then only minor cracks. Seems to turn more brown with the more sun it gets.

Seed source:

Dan and Val McMurray of Wynndel, British Columbia, Canada (B.C MC D)

Year grown: 2009

Location: Nelson, BC, Canada
