Delicious sweet flavor, with a hint of smokiness. Firm walls are about 0.5 mm thick. We loved it dehydrated and ground into sweet paprika. * Seed was collected by R. Browne from peppers purchased at a farmers market in Odessa, Ukraine in 1965 and then grown in Nebraska.
* First offered in the Seed Savers 2001 Yearbook by John N. Trumpeter of Clinton, Iowa (IA TR J), seeds from R. Browne. This was the only variety that Mr. Trumpeter listed in the SSE Yearbook. Mr. Trumpeter listed in the SSE Yearbook.
