Compact indet. plants with a fair yield of pink heart-shaped fruits. Fruits have dense and meaty flesh and very few seeds which is typical for heart-shaped varieties. 7-18 oz. Excellent sweet flavor. Early to mid-season.

The name can be translated as "Tsar of Bel … The name can be translated as "Tsar of Bells" and refers to the largest existing Bell which cracked while it was still in the casting pit in 1737. The Tsar of Bells is 19 ft high and weighs 440,000 lb, and is now displayed in the Moscow Kremlin (see [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsar_Kolokol]).
