History
|
* A potato leafed version of [[Cherokee Pu … * A potato leafed version of [[Cherokee Purple]] that appeared at about the same time as [[Cherokee Purple, Potato Leaf]]. It has been propagated and privately distributed since by Bill Malin of Hillsboro, New Mexico. Bill Malin got his original seeds from a friend in Ohio who found the original potato leaf version of his Cherokee Purple in his Ohio garden. Bill named it 'Spudakee'.
* It is not clear whether Spudakee and [[Cherokee Purple, Potato Leaf]] are the same or not. Both versions should be grown side-by-side and compared with regular-leaved [[Cherokee Purple]] grown at the same time to see if there really are any differences.
* First offered in the Seed Savers 2010 Yearbook by three SSE members. Savers 2010 Yearbook by three SSE members.
