***NEW 2015 Release from Tomato Dwarf Project***. OSSI-pledged variety.. Indet. vigorous dwarf (tree-type) plants with potato leaf rugose foliage. Very good yields of smooth oblate purple (clear skin) fruit, 6-12 oz, with rich, well balanced delicious flavor. (12 seeds / packet)

History

  • Developed in the 2008-2015 by the members of the Dwarf Tomato Project from a cross between Dwarf Wild Fred and Spudakee made by Vince Lavallo in 2008 and named Frosty. It was selected and named by Craig LeHoullier. Stabilization was a collaborative work of Vince Lavallo, Linda Black, Paul Fish, Craig Weber, Robbins Hail, Shawn Conant, Marsha Eisenberg, Craig LeHoullier, and Bill Minkey.
