This is a natural cross of [[Red Leprechau … This is a natural cross of [[Red Leprechaun]] lettuce with an unknown, likely green, oakleaf that was discovered in my 2010 garden when I grew [[Red Leprechaun]] lettuce from the seed I received from Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin, where the cross likely to have appeared. The seed will produce a colorful mix of oakleaf/romaine lettuces, some solid green and some with purplish speckles.
