Description

Long and moderately thin pods ripen from green to bright red. Up to 10" long. Sweet and complex flavor, delicious cooked and dried. It is considered to be one of the best frying peppers, and I would not disagree. Very high yields all season long.

Jimmy's parents, Giuseppe and Angela Nardiello, immigrated to America in 1997 from village of Ruoti in the Basilicata region of Southern Italy in 1887, and brought the seeds with them. The story says that their family had grown this pepper for over a century!
