Indet. plants with wispy regular leaf foliage. Very long horn-shaped red fruits are very firm, meaty and have dry flesh and very few seeds. Delicious sweet flavor. Perfect for sauce or drying. 4-8 oz. (very limited, 5 seeds / packet)

History

  • Russian commercial variety. The name means 'Little sword' (referring to a toy) in Russian.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Åke Truedsson of Klagshamn, Sweden (SWED TR A).
  • Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2015.

Description in Russian

  • "Крупноплодный салатно-консервный сорт среднего срока созревания. Растение высотой 1,6-1,8 м, с красными мясистыми плодами удлинённой формы (12-16 см) и массой 150-200 г. Урожайность 2 кг/растение. Выращивать в один стебель с пасынкованием и подвязкой к опоре. Рекомендуется для не обогреваемых теплиц, укрытий и открытого грунта (южные регионы). "
