History

  • Russian commercial variety, introduced to NA by Andrey Baranovsky of Belarus (BELR BA A), who traded seeds with Earl Cadenhead of Ohio. Earl passed the seed to Carolyn Male (NY MA C), who listed it at SSE in (year?)
  • The original Russian name is ‘Russkiy Bogatyr’.



Russian name: Русский Богатырь

a.k.a. Russkiy Bogatyr, which translates 'Russian Bogatyr' from Russian.
