Indet., regular leaf plants. Pink beefsteaks with excellent sweet flavor and nice meaty flesh. 6-16 oz. Some with ruffled shoulders, some are smooth. High yields.

History

  • Russian commercial variety ‘Rozovyi Slon’, introduced in North America and Western Europe by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus under its translated name.
  • Selection from Rozovyi Gigant by GISOK. The seeds distributed by Andrey Baranovski of Minsk, Belarus (BELR BA A) in 2005-2006 was regular leaf, but the real Rozovyi Slon variety is potato leaf.
  • This selection has been known as a regular leaf tomato.



Russian name: Розовый Слон

The name means 'Pink Elephant' in Russian.
