History

Seeds were made available by a private seed seller Aleksandr Dmitriev of Volgograd, Russia. The original name was 'Oranzhevyi Gigant', and 'Dmitrieva' was added to differentiate this variety from other 'Oranzhevyi Gigant' tomatoes known in Russia.
Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2015.
