History
- Seeds were made available by a private seed seller Aleksandr Dmitriev of Volgograd, Russia. The original name was 'Oranzhevyi Gigant', and 'Dmitrieva' was added to differentiate this variety from other 'Oranzhevyi Gigant' tomatoes known in Russia.
- Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2015.
