Compact 1' tall plants produces loads of small, bright red, upward-growing semi-hot peppers. This pepper performs well indoors under low lights conditions, and can be a good ornamental house plant.

History

  • An heirloom pepper from Siberia. Bred especially for growing indoors.
  • Original Russian name is unknown.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 1992 Yearbook by Ronald C. Boehlke of Nampa, Idago (ID BO R), who purchased seeds from Seeds Trust/High Altitude Gardens in 1991.
