Mid-season, indet., tree-type dwarf plants with regular leaf rugose foliage, small round flattened red fruit, 1-3 oz, good mild sweet flavor, thick walls, stores well after picking ripe.

History

  • Introduced in 1902 by Livingston.
  • PI 339941. Donated to USDA in 1969.
  • Description from 1935 Livingston Catalog:
"Livingston's Dwarf Stone. Introduced by us in 1902. Fruits are nearly as large as Stone but plants are more dwarf, permitting close planting (1 1/2 to 2 ft. apart). Productive. 65 days."
