B.C KO T

3-4" long cylindrical fruits with blunt end, 0.75" in diameter, thicker walls than what you would normally expect from such a slim pepper, moderately juicy, medium to very hot with very good flavor. Easy to dry. Fruits turn from green to vibrant orange color when fully ripe.

History

  • A stray seed or a cross of De Bresse pepper, discovered in 2013 by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in a packet of De Bresse pepper seeds that she received from a fellow SODC member, Nathalie Antaya of Saint-Robert, Quebec, Canada (QUE AN N).
  • It is unclear how stable it is.
