History

  • First introduced in Seed Savers 1999 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B), who obtained the seed from Joe Bratka, New Jersey in 1999. In 1992 Joe Bratka also shared the seed for Marizol Gold Cherry, which description is very similar, and it may be the original name for this variety or a parent variety.
