History

  • Portuguese variety, named by Val and Dan McMurray (B.C MC D). Dan picked the seeds out of a salad in Portugal in the late 1990s or early 2000s, and they have been growing this variety in their garden since then.
  • Introduced to SSE by Carolyn Male, NY in 2007.
