History

  • Russian commercial variety, named after a Russian fairy tale hero, one of the three 'bogatyrs' (Alesha Popovich, Ilya Murometz, and Dobrynya Nikitich); there are three Russian tomatoes named after each 'bogatyr', and this is one of them.
