indet., regular leaf wispy looking foliage, red heart-shaped fruit, same shape and size as Zolotye Kupola, which I think it is a natural cross of. Excellent sweet flavor in the first generation (2008, container), but it was bland in the second generation (2009, open ground), very few seeds. F2 generation fruits were huge double-hearts, up to 2 lbs, both yellow (2 plants) and red color (3 plants).
This is a working name, and I will change it once I stabilize the variety.

Seed source:

B.C KO T 09 / Tamara Yaschenko, Altai, Russia, 06

Year grown: 2008, 2009

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)

History

  • An accidental cross of Zolotye Kupola with an unknown open-pollinated tomato in Tamara Yaschenko's garden in 2004. Appeared in Tatiana Kouchnareva's garden in 2008 when she grew out the original seeds of Zolotye Kupola that she received from Tamara in 2006.
