* An heirloom tomato from Wr. Wedekind who … * An heirloom tomato from Wr. Wedekind who died in 1984 at age 85. Mr. Wedekind's grandfather brought it from Germany, and it has been grown in Minnesota since then (likely since the early 1900s).
* First offered in the Seed Savers 1985 Yearbook by John Pavola of Sauk Center, Minnesota (MN PA J), who got the seeds directly from Mr. Wedekind. This was the only listing of Mr. Pavola in the SSE Yearbook.
