* Reportedly the original seeds were broug … * Reportedly the original seeds were brought over by immigrants who came to the USA to work in the cement plant [in Hannibal, Missouri?] sometime between 1900s and 1950s. Said to be grown at the cement plant.
* First offered in the Seed Savers 2004 Yearbook by Albert Beck of Monroe City, Missouri (MO BE A), who got the seeds from Arnold Hart, Hannibal, Missouri.
