History

* Brad Gates' variety. Brad discovered Eva … * Brad Gates' variety. Brad discovered Evan's Purple Plum in a row of [[Pruden's Purple]] in 1997-1998. He planted the seeds next year as he was curious to see what will come out of this variation. All F2 plants produced the same tomatoes, except one which was a little larger and had small fluted ribs on the top (was later called [[Boar's Hoof]]).
* First introduced in Seed Savers 2008 Yearbook by Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio (OH AN A). ok by Al Anderson of Troy, Ohio (OH AN A).
