Det., compact plants, regular leaf, high yield of small to medium sized red elongated fruits with a blunt tip at the blossom end. 2-4 oz. Fruits are firm and very well suitable for cooking or canning. Dry flesh. Fruits keep well on the counter after picking. Quite early.

History

  • Developed in Quebec, Canada by Roger Doucet, Station Provinciale de Recherches Agricoles, St.-Hyacinthe.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2000 Yearbook by Bill Minkey of Darien, Wisconsin (WI MI B), who received seeds from Claude Gagnon of Quebec, Canada in 1999.
