History

  • Developed in Quebec, Canada by Roger Doucet, Station Provinciale de Recherches Agricoles, St.-Hyacinthe. Introduced in 1978.
  • According to Amy Goldman, one of its parents was PI 263726 tomato from Puerto Rico that was collected by Charlie Rick of the University of California at Davis and donated to USDA in 1960.
  • SSE TOMATO 2596.
