B.C KO T
- late to mid-season, indet., large potato leaf plant with large pink beefsteak type fruits, 10-24 oz, excellent flavor. (15 seeds / packet)
Seed source:
- Darrel Jones, Alabama 04 / Craig LeHoullier of Raleigh, North Carolina (NC LE C)
Year grown: 2006, 2015
Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)
MI FL J
- Large vines need caging or staking, first mature fruit around 100 days, moderate production of large (usually about 1 lb) flattened pink fruit, sometimes with green shoulders, with outstanding sweet rich flavor. Some cracking of ripening fruits with wet weather. First sprouts are very vigorous, giving the biggest seedlings in the first couple weeks of growth of any variety I've tried (but this difference disappears with time).

History
- SSE TOMATO 4042
- This may be the same variety as Polish C, which is described in Carolyn J. Male's book "100 Heirloom Tomatoes for the American Garden" and had one commercial source Sand Hill Preservation Center noted for 2004 in the Garden Seed Inventory 6th edition. There are other similar-named varieties in the SSE Yearbook, which may or may not be the same variety. These include Polish Giant (a regular leaf variant), Polish Heart (a heart-shaped potato leaf pink), Polish Non-Acid (a potato leaf also offered by Sand Hill Preservation Center ), and Polish Pink (which has differing descriptions including both regular leaf and potato leaf).
