- Small lobed 1" red peppers. 3 foot tall plant is bushy and sprawling. Blooms at mid-summer here in East Tennessee, with fruit finally ripening later in late September or early October. Heat is medium to hot with the seeds left in, but is only mild with the seeds removed. Great flavor to this one when canned with a sweet pickling mixture. From South Africa.
