Very tall and vigorous plants with regular leaf foliage produce lots of perfectly shaped pears, 2-6 oz. Very high yield. Fruits are juicy, with excellent balanced flavor. Great for salads and can also be used for canning. This variety now becoming a rare find, as it has not been listed at SSE Yearbooks since 2003.
