- German origin ?
- First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C), who received the seeds from Cazwell Page of Pennsylvania labelled "No name German". She said that she got both pink and red seed. Carolyn Male renamed it 'Page German' with his permission.
