compact det. plant with very narrow lacy leaves that resemble carrot foliage, regular leaf, 4-6 oz red fruit that matures early; similar to Silvery Fir Tree, great for container growing; very nice flavor on the tart side, recommended for short season and container growers
Note: The plant shown on the pictures was grown 100% under artificial (fluorescent) lights inside. This shows that this particular variety sets fruit quite well under even less than optimal growing conditions. I grew Morkovnyi side-by-side with Carrot-Like, and the plants and fruits looked identical.
