History

  • A 50+ year old variety grown by a family in Kazakhstan, who later immigrated to Germany and brought this variety along. A woman from this family, Ludmilla, passed the seeds to Reinhard Kraft, Neukirchen, Germany , who made the seeds available in Germany and to some North American tomato growers.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2009 Yearbook by Ted Corbett of Germany (GERM CO T), Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C) and Nathalie Antaya of Quebec, Canada (QUE AN N).
