indet., regular leaf plant with high yield of dark pink medium size globes, oblate, very meaty, with dark green shoulders that turn pink when fully ripe. Some concentric cracking occur in heavy rains, otherwise it is generally blemish-free. The flavor is very good to excellent, balanced sweet and acidic. This is one of our family favorites.

The name means "Queen" in Russian.

History

  • Tomato grown by a friend of Tatiana's mother in the South Urals region of Russia in the late 1990s. It came to Tatiana named "Koroleva", the original name is not known.
  • Introduced to North America by Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) via Garden Web in the early 2000s.
