History

  • The name implies that this variety may have originated from Kazakhstan, a former Soviet Union republic.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Michael Gunn of Pasadena, Texas (TX GU R), who received the seeds from Manfred Hahms-Hartmann, Germany.
