- Italian origin.
- According to Fedco Seeds seed catalog, this tomato was brought from Italy to Massachusetts, probably between 1910 and 1920, and then by Susan Eastman and Ed Lacy of Gray, Maine, to the Exhibition Hall at the 1988 Common Ground Fair.
