History

  • First introduced by Neil Gillard of Ontario, Canada. Neil Gillard collected the seed in 1995 from Gus Aiello, his fellow employee. Gus Aiello also shared two other tomato varieties with Neil, later named Gus' Gift and Gus' Greek. Unfortunately, Gus Aiello was soon diagnosed with cancer and quickly passed away, even before he could receive treatment.
