- According to Vent Marin, this tomato originated in Hungary.
- First offered in the Seed Savers 2011 Yearbook by Nathalie Antaya of Saint-Robert, Quebec, Canada (QUE AN N), who received the seed from Manfred Hartmann, Germany.
- Introduced commercially by Knapp's Fresh Vegies in 2013.
