History

• Tatiana Kouchnareva, Anmore, BC (B.C KO T) received the seeds from her co-worker Tina Exarchoulis, Vancouver, BC in 2005, and grew it in 2006.
• Tina said that her Dad (George Exarchoulis) has been growing this tomato for many years in his garden in Vancouver, BC, and that the original seeds came from Greece. George did not know the name of this variety, as he has only been growing two tomato varieties, this large beefsteak and a cherry, and he said he usually referred to it as a "Large Red", but he agreed to the name "George's Greek Beefsteak".
• First offered in the Seed Savers 2007 Yearbook by Tatiana Kouchnareva, Anmore, BC (B.C KO T).
