History

• Originated from Latvia, but unfortunately the original name is lost, as it often happened when seeds are brought from another country and passed around. As Latvia was a part of the former USSR, it is also very possible that the tomato could be actually from Russia or any other former Soviet republic.
• Donaline Rogers of Wisconsin (who now lives in California) obtained the seed from Jenny Virsnieks in 1996 and introduced it at SSE in 1997.
