B.C KO T
- Indet., regular leaf plants produce lots of small round red fruits with a cute 'nipple' at the blossom end. Thick walls. Fruits keep on the counter very well after picking. They are great for pickling or sauce, or can be used in salads.
Seed source:
- Marina Popova, Karaganda, Kazakhstan 10
Year grown: 2014
Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)
History
- From Kazakhstan, seeds were sent to Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) by Marina Popova, Karaganda, Kazakhstan in 2010. Marina said that this tomato was grown my local gardeners and passed around labelled 'Zhenskaya Grud' ('Женская грудь'), which means 'woman's breast' in Russian.
- The size and the shape is very similar to Yubileynyi Tarasenko tomato, and we would not be very surprised if it is actually the same as Yubileynyi Tarasenko.
