- Very large vines need caging or staking, 80 days, good production of large (10-18 oz) oblate, often irregular shaped dark pink fruit with very good rich flavor very similar to that of Brandywine. I found it to be more productive and the fruits less prone to cracking than Brandywine.

History
- It is also known as Purple Brandy, Marizol Brandywine and Marizol Bratka.
- This is a stabilized cross of Brandywine with Marizol Purple bred by Joe Bratka of New Jersey. It was first listed by Carolyn Male in the 1995 SSE Yearbook under the name Marizol Bratka and was probably bred in the late 1980s or early 1990s (Carolyn got it from Joe in 1992). It was first listed under the name Purple Brandywine in 1998.
