History

  • Seeds came to Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T) in 2013 from a Russian gardener from St. Petersburg.
  • The seeds were offered by the Russian private seed seller (Tamara Yashchenko) in 2007, and it has been grown by Russian gardeners since then.
  • Tamara Yashchenko told Tatiana that she received the seed from a gardener, who only gave her the name and description, but did not say anything about the origin of this tomato. So the country of origin remains a mystery.
  • Introduced commercially in North America by Tatiana's TOMATObase Seeds in 2014.
