Tatiana Kouchnareva (B.C KO T). Bing Cherry - ripe fruit. 2012-08-22.

Compact plants with regular foliage, some purple tinge on leaf edges and fruit stems, round slightly flattened cherries with cute purple shoulders that ripen to light red color and look almost translucent. They are so pretty on the vine or on the plate. Good mild flavor.

Seed source:

Terry Kott, Kalamazoo, Michigan 12 / New World Seeds & Tubers 12

Year grown: 2012

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)

Bred by Tom Wagner, another in his line of blue tomatoes. These have very minor blue dusting on the shoulder and some anthocycnin in the foliage but for intents and purposes, red cherries. What makes this variety great is it’s late blight resistance.

Year: 2014

Location: Southold, NY
