indet., regular leaf, the plants were struggling in the open ground in the cold, short and wet summer of 2008, and did not produce very well. In 2009 this variety performed very well, producing large pale yellow/white colored beefsteaks with a very good mild balanced flavor with some sweetness and acidity. 12-17 oz.

History

• SSE TOMATO 315.
• Kentucky heirloom from Alford Hardin family before 1855.
• Original seed traces back to Ivo Johnson of Clearfield, Kentucky (KY JO I), offered via SSE Yearbook in 1984 and re-offered by many SSE members up to 2005. There was only 1 listing of this variety in SSE 2005 Yearbook by IA SSE HF, and then Neil Lockhart picked it up and continued re-offering it.
