Compact and bushy indeterminate, regular leaf, foliage is a slightly lighter shade of green compared to most of the other tomatoes. Very high yields of red plum-shaped fruits, 2-4 oz, very firm, meaty and dry flesh, perfect for canning or sauce. Seeds could be scooped out easily for seedless ketchup. Good sweet flavor.

History

  • Seed were obtained by Carolyn Male of Latham, New York (NY MA C) from her student Tadessee Wuhib of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, who got it from a local farmers market in Ethiopia.
  • First offered in the Seed Savers 1994 Yearbook by Carolyn Male of Salem, New York (NY MA C).
