indet., regular leaf, wispy foliage, high yield of medium size heart-shaped yellow-orange fruit. Very meaty flesh with small seed cavities and a few seeds, excellent sweet flavor, nice smooth texture, no core. The seed packet was labeled 'Orange Oxheart, Ukraine', and this is a true Russian 'Orange Bull's Heart' tomato.

History

  • Russian commercial variety.
  • Some SSE members who list this variety in the SSE Yearbooks indicate that they got oblate fruits, and not hearts, which is incorrect. The true Bychie Serdtse Oranzhevoe fruit should be heart-shaped.
