- Indet., regular leaf, dark purple-violet foliage, plants set fruit early, but they take time to ripen, similar to other 'blue' tomatoes. Fruits are nearly black except where they have no sun exposure. Ripe fruits eventually have a red blush on less exposed areas, but many will have to be harvested by feel. Fruits were mostly round globes, 2-4 oz, with good taste for the current blue lines. Two plants produced somewhat larger small slicer types that were more oblate in the 4-6 oz range, so this line is still segregating.
