Large prolific bush, regular leaf, beautiful flowers with curly petals. I don't think it is a true Aker's West Virginia, as the fruits were red and round; 4-10 oz, with a good tomato taste, not sweet, keeps quite well after picking. Grown in 2007 from the original seeds from Chuck Wyatt 00.

Seed source:

Patty Brown, Ohio 07 / Chuck Wyatt, Maryland 00

Year grown: 2007

Location: Zone 7b, PNW, Anmore, BC, Canada (760 ft above sea level)

History

  • A variant of Aker's West Virginia tomato that originated from Chuck Wyatt of Maryland, USA, in the late 1990s - early 2000s.
