- Kentucky/Tennessee heirloom, from Mrs. Yoder, an old Amish woman who has grown this tomato since 1950s.
- First offered in the Seed Savers 2005 Yearbook by Robbins Hail, Osceola, Missouri (MO HA R2), who received the seed directly from Mrs. Yoder.
