indet., regular leaf, medium sized pale yellow or ivory slightly oblate fruits, some beautifully lobed, with a pink blush on the bottom end. Not a heart-shaped despite the name. Very good flavor with a hint of citrus, juicy and meaty flesh. 5-10 oz.

Indeterminate, regular leaf, medium-sized tomatoes. Taste was pretty good for a yellow/orange. Slight, but not prominent, heart shape to mine. Good production. mid season, 75 days.

History

  • Developed by the late Darrell Merrell (The Tomato Man) from a chance cross between the 1884 Tomato and an unknown yellow.
  • First introduced commercially by Marianna's Heirloom Seeds in the 2010 Catalog. Seed was sent to Marianna's Heirloom Seeds by Randy Flemming, a good friend of Darrell Merrill.
  • First introduced in the Seed Savers 2010 Yearbook by Martin Longseth of Wisconsin (WI LO M).
