- Thick rugged dark green crunchy leaves in a large upright rosette. Holds up very well for overwintering and is not deterred by snow. It is also a good spring variety, growing quickly and producing well. Slow to bolt when the hot weather comes. If I had to pick one variety for all seasons, this would be a strong finalist. Light gray seed.
