B.C KO T

Very early, regular leaf, compact plants with high yield of red ping pong ball size fruit with a small tip at blossom end, 0.5-1.5 oz. Large fruit truss, up to 15 fruits, plants seem to have more fruit than foliage. Two seed cavities with very few large seeds, some smaller fruits are seedless. Very good tomato flavor for an early variety. Determinate growth. Fruit turn green-yellowish just before ripening to red. Fruit ripen almost all at once.

History

  • Bred by a rancher in Wyoming and selected for harsh, very short seasons.
  • Appears in the Seed Savers 1983 Yearbook listed by WY RA J, but it may have been listed earlier (I do not have access to earlier Yearbooks to verify it).
